For the by five weeks my now 6 month one-time little male child has been rolling over in his slumber onto his breadbasket and waking himself up crying.
This happens over and over throughout the night.
He doesnt even put his head down he just lifts information technology direct up and screams.
We roll him back onto his back, sometimes he settles but other times he will roll straight back and cry. On his worst night he rolled 15 times.
As you lot can imagine no 1 is getting much sleep in our firm. Anybody keeps telling me its a phase, but 5 weeks of this is getting beyond a joke and we are all exhausted.
I take tried rolled upwardly blankets nether his sheet but he but rolls on top of them.
Does anyone have whatever other suggestions!? We are going mad here!

He ever sleeps in a grow bag.
I simply dont know what to do. He's been upwards for an hour now not settling. He rolls over and cries, so i roll him back. He instantly rolls dorsum again and repeat.
Tried leaving him on his front.. but goes into full on meltdown.
I've fed him, cuddled him, put him back in crib but he just keeps doing it!! 😭😭😭

Could you use a couple of foam wedges to help support his position on his back? No idea if these would be 'recommended', then probably best to check with your HV merely should definitely work better than a blanket as they're firmer and won't squish downwards.

For the past five weeks my at present six month old niggling male child has been rolling over in his sleep onto his tummy and waking himself upwardly crying.

I take tried rolled up blankets nether his sheet merely he just rolls on summit of them.

Wow I feel for you :( 5 weeks is a long time. My ds2 did it for 2 weeks and that was bad. I didn't do anything thing with rolled up blankets etc equally I thought the longer I delay him learning to roll him cocky back would be worse than short term sleepless nights? If that makes sense? I tried in the 24-hour interval non nap times to put him in his cot with toys and get him happy on his breadbasket and he started rolling on his back in day and so did at night. Does he take a lot of stomach time in day? Also when you put him down to slumber is he awake or comatose? Does he sleep on his back or stomach? Might exist worth putting him down to sleep on his tum?

My LG yesterday discovered she can now roll onto her tummy so all twenty-four hour period yesterday she kept rolling over, last nighttime was horrendous equally she was fifty-fifty doing it in her sleep but as shortly as she was on her belly she'd wake up screaming!!! He has been rolling back to front for about iii months so being on his tummy isnt anything new. He has rolled front to back a few times now simply its like he has forgotten how to do information technology!
I ordinarily nurse him to slumber and as shortly as i put him in the crib he rolls onto his side and falls comatose. He did slumber on his tummy for about 2 hours, then when he woke it was murder and he took over an hr to settle. He only kept rolling back and screaming only wasnt happy being on his back either!
I think he is practicing crawling.

Oh and spends the bulk of his day on his tummy because equally soon as i put him on his dorsum he rolls. He tin sit down upwards now as well so he does relish doing that as well .
